The American Legion, across the Department of Maryland, is a supporter of the Maryland Special Olympics. Annually, many American Legion Posts across the state are involved with donating to this worthy cause by collecting private funds, by donating as an entity, or by participating in the annual Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge.
