EPIC Pharmacy Network, Inc.

The American Legion Department of Maryland, in conjunction with EPIC Pharmacy Network, has developed a discount prescription drug program available to all legion members and their dependents. The pharmacy network through which you can access this program consists of more than 400 area EPIC and Giant pharmacies. By presenting a current legion membership card to the pharmacy with a new or refill prescription request, the program provides Legion members with discounted prescription drug pricing ranging from 10% to 25% off Average Wholesale Price*.

Program Features:

No Enrollment Fee - There is no cost to join the program.

Discounted Prescription Pricing - Legion members will receive up to a 10% discount off the Average Wholesale Price on brand name drugs and up to a 25% discount off the Average Wholesale Price on generic drugs.

Convenient Pharmacy Locations - Over 400 EPIC and Giant pharmacies are available for your convenience when utilizing the program.

*Average Wholesale Price is as defined by Blue Book, Medi-Span, or other nationally recognized pricing publication as designated by EPIC.

AMERICAN LEGION LICENSE TAGS

The Department of Maryland, in conjunction with the Motor Vehicle Administration, offers all paid up members in good standing the opportunity to obtain The American Legion organizational license tag for their vehicle. Any Department of Maryland American Legion member, who has a vehicle (not including trailers) registered in their name may qualify for the tag, (subject to MVA regulations). The procedure for obtaining a license tag is:

Send Department Headquarters a letter along with a copy of the registration of the vehicle to be tagged, and $2.00 for processing. Either the owner or co/owner must be a member in good standing (current dues paid) with their post. If in doubt, contact the Assistant Adjutant at (410) 752-1405 for specific information and instructions.
Upon receipt of the letter and the copy of the registration, Department Headquarters will complete the application, assign a tag number, and return to the application and a Tag Listing Book to the member.
The member may then work with the Motor Vehicle Administration to get the tags. At the current time a one time fee of $25.00 payable to the Motor Vehicle Administration is charged for the tags.

Special Information:

The Motor Vehicle Administration one time fee charge of $25.00 must be accompanied with the application when taken or mailed to The Department of Motor Vehicles.

Completed applications taken directly to the DMV in Glenn Burnie will receive their tags at that time.

Completed applications taken to a DMV satellite office will have the tags mailed to them by the DMV.

Completed applications mailed to the DMV will also have their tags mailed to them by the DMV.
